Gunnedah High School is looking for a Canteen Manager to work in our school-operated canteen.
The position is full-time Monday – Friday 7:30am – 3pm (negotiable) during school terms only. If successful you will be an employee of the Department of Education and join the Gunnedah High School staff.
We are seeking a highly motivated Canteen Manager to work in the Gunnedah High School canteen. Previous experience in a school setting is not required but a passion for delivering quality customer service and healthy foods that comply with the NSW Healthy Canteen Strategy is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the ordering of supplies, serving secondary students and staff and ensuring food safety compliance is maintained.
To be successful, you will need
• Food preparation skills
• Food Handling Certificate - or willingness to work toward
• Cash & EFTPOS handing (training will be provided)
• A desire to plan and create nutritional food for our staff and students
• NSW Working with Children Check for employment or willing to apply
